Yes they do.
Sorry, we had fish and chips. Not sure
The food is great. The clam chowder is awesome. Love there poor boy sandwich too.
Had a delicious and filling meal. Our server, Karen, was delightful, courteous and attentive. Sat with another couple we did not know and had a great time with them. We will be teturning.
Was driving and looking for a place to eat. Saw their sign and stopped. So glad we did. Great fish and chips with perfect cole slaw. The ice tea was also really good.
Great RI Chowder, Fresh Haddock
Full belly clams, very good dinner Updated 12/21/19 - Walked in to have dinner and found live music. Paul Simon guitar music and Sea Shanties! Great time, very good Full Belly clams. highly recommended.
Small place with great food and friendly staff the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is i didn't care for their crab cakes to much dough
Every thing they can make from scratch, they do!! The Lobster Bisque is the best I have ever had, and I’ve had it from many places. All the rest of the menu is amazing and they serve beer!!! The staff are so great!!!!
Great place for lobster rolls and live local music staff is very friendly all homemade food and pastries
My husband and I visit here from time to time and it is always great . Clam cakes are to die for just like Aunt Carrie’s in Narragansett , and they Have clams in them . Keep up the good service .Stephanie
Excellent lobster rolls, clam chowder and cold slaw!
The best Fish and Chips in this area. The fish was nicely battered, flakey, and not over fried. Generous portions of both the fish and chips.
Only place to get real NE seafood. The haddock is fresh and delicious.
Great food fair prices wait staff very pleasant and helpful
First time here. Definitely has a Rhode Island vibe with coffee milk and lots of RI license plates on the wall. The fish and chips were really,l really good and about double what I could eat. Lunch tomorrow. My wife had the lobster roll - small but good. Definitely a place to come back to. They also have a booming take out business.
Just amazing .... Food and Staff
This has become my favorite fish and seafood restaurant in the area. Don’t go there for the ambiance, it could use a coat of paint and some remodeling. Go for the great New England Seafood. Their shrimp poor boy is great. The shrimp platter has plenty of very large shrimp. Their fish will make you think you are in a fish shack in New England! Staff is consistently friendly, and service is prompt and accurate. They occasionally have some good live music, but I don’t know if there is a schedule. This has filled a longing for New England Seafood I have had since moving down from New Hampshire.
Being from New England....RJ's is the best! Great food and friendly service.
Tastes like home. Had the NE clam chowder and the clear chowder both were great. Also had the fish and chips also very good and large portions. The fries are from fresh cut potatoes, they are the best.
Better off not commenting. Would have given them a zero.
I recommend the clam cakes with the clam chowder. Its very much a comfort food. Most delicious!!!
Nasty way over priced they need to go back to new England and learn about new England food
Very good seafood at decent prices but they charge extra for credit cards. Nice duo playing on Saturday night.
Very good haddock sandwich. Fried perfectly and my husband had the whole belly fried clams. Varied menu, inexpensive. Friendly service but no atmosphere.
Lobster roll awesome clam chowder awesome. I will be back.
It's okay - should be better for what it makes itself out to be - so close to being great but a few things make it not. Cool staff tho.
This is a simple deli/cafe - don't expect ambiance or anything fancy. Do expect good food and friendly service! We stopped in after passing by and seeing their sign for whole belly fried clams - something I loved to eat before moving to Florida, but they're hard to come by down here. I had the clam roll, $12.99, and it made me very happy. Sweet, tasty clams - just like back in NH and ME. My wife had a fried haddock sandwich for less than $9 plus they had a Boar's Head deli selection. All said, this place should be a stop for any New England seafood fans. Next time I'll have to try the lobster roll.
Food is awesome! Staff is so friendly! Had chowder and shrimp.. everything was amazing. Can't wait to go back!
It was excellent as usual, very friendly and didn't bother us but was always there to take care of us
Great service and food! Will definitely be back.
Best fish and chips I have had. Two very nice pieces of fish, fresh cut fries and coke slaw. Wednesday special just $9.99. Also try the clam chowder! Friendly service.
Everything was delicious. We had some haddock, scallops and shrimp 🍤
1st time had to try.the clam roll I did enjoyed it a little under seasoned for my taste but a little salt worked very friendly staff I thought it was kinda of pricey how ever I will be back for more 20 buck included tip for the nice waitress that served me the pics what I got
Its really hard to find decent fish & chips from a local restaurant in Florida. Most places fall a bit short. Not at RJ's. It's a small dining room and busy for Friday Lunch in-season. You might wait but it's worth it. A nice piece or haddock lightly battered and served with coleslaw and natural cut fries. Recommended for a taste of "home", if home is New England.
Food was great!!! Large menu! Quick service, friendly waitress!!
We went on a busy Friday. Service was very good. The Manhatten chowder was very good. Other food was just OK..not great. Had the "Sampler" which included 2 pieces of fish and 3 shrimp with fries. Shrimp were large and were cooked too long and were hard to bite into. Fish was just a bit overcooked too but was not as hard/tough as the shrimp. Frying fish in the deep fryer is an art which they have not mastered yet. They're supposed to be from RI. They need to go to Flo's in Newport, RI to learn how to fry!! I and my 5 other friends are not excited to go back
You haven't seen snow for a while. Shorts are what you wear all day. BUT you long for some good maybe healthy New England fried food. Where do you go? RJ's Cafe, naturally. Whole belly clans .Haddock cooked to perfection. Scallops to die for...and much more. Run, drive, bike, or crawl here, but do expect to leave full and happy.Great prices and super value. The staff is the friendliest around, Taylor and Linda make the meal that much more enjoyable.Don't expect fancy...just great food.😍
Very good tasty food, Pleasant surroundings and very nice waitress. Prices are pretty darn good and if you're looking for fancy this is not the place but the food is better than a lot of places for sure absolutely delicious going back next week
Went for the clam chowders take out. Got New England and Manhattan. Manhattan not so good, New England was great! Will go back to get more New England clam chowder... Very nice people running the place.
The lobster bisque was to die for.
Usually love it. This to go order not so much. French fries soggy and limp. Chowder good but potatoes not cooked.
Do not waste your money extremely rude staff they are for sure not northerners would not recommend them had a big party that spent alot of money was rushed through dinner nothing cleaned up at table after appetizers menus taken couldn't look at deserts this place is a bad example of rhode island going to do everything i can to get it shut down
Had Rhode Island (clear) chowdah and 3 clam cakes. Omg...I was home! Delicious and reasonably priced. The lobster bisque was wonderful too.
We went to RJs for the first time today. The fish sandwich was excellent and homemade fries were awesome. Will definitely return soon.
Very rude wait staff as well as the most awful food I have ever tasted! Would not even call myself from New England!! Or had even been their if I had said this was any good what so ever!
Gave them one star because zero was not a choice. Lobster rolls. were the lobster was not fresh. French fries were soggy out of the kitchen. Ordered haddock special. Big mistake. Super greasy and stale. Were ignored by waitresses while attempting to get ice for ice tea. All in all avoid it.
Food was awesome, staff was attentive and fast with refills even though the place was packed. It's a great small place that I hope to visit again soon.
My husband and his nephew ate lunch there today. They had the lobster roll which was about 4 inches long. The lobster tasted several days old, and was very dry. The lobster bisque was ok. $26. It was their first and last visit. Very disappointing!
Awesome place to eat friendly atmosphere And great food
Excellent food, friendly efficient waitress
